Description

Lead the automation of microwave network infrastructure by standardizing network models and implementing automated testing. Develop and maintain automation components within the Andiamo program, translating requirements into technical solutions and ensuring compliance with NETCONF/YANG standards. You will work closely with international stakeholders and vendors across microwave, optical, WDM, and IP technologies.

Responsibilities

• Standardization: define, promote, and validate NETCONF/YANG models; coordinate ETSI sessions; ensure standards compliance

• Automation testing: design, test, and maintain Robot Framework scripts to validate network models with major vendors

• Development: lead automation activities inside Andiamo; support deployment and compliance with standards

• Communication & collaboration: coordinate with international teams and stakeholders in English

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Java (Spring Boot) and Python

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Hands-on experience with GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, and containerized environments

• Knowledge of network management systems and protocols: SNMP, NETCONF/YANG, RESTCONF, APIs

• Excellent English communication skills
