Description

Working with ITSM architecture and BMC Helix technical leads, the developer will support and enhance the BMC Helix ITSM platform by transferring knowledge, resolving complex production incidents, managing the backlog, and delivering high-quality developments. The role includes deep understanding of existing BMC configurations, validating documentation and operational procedures, and ensuring production continuity through root-cause analysis and permanent fixes. Responsibilities cover workflow, integration, CMDB and ITSM feature development, plus testing, UAT, go-live, and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical knowledge transfer, reversibility, and hands-on validation

• Develop and maintain operational documentation and runbooks

• Provide L3 RUN support for BMC Helix ITSM

• Investigate and resolve complex incidents, defects, and integration failures

• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes

• Debug workflows, APIs, performance issues, and data inconsistencies

• Deliver backlog enhancements and project developments (automation, bug fixes, enhancements)

• Design and implement new BMC Helix features based on business requirements

• Develop and enhance workflows, service catalog items, integrations, and CMDB capabilities

• Support testing, UAT, go-live activities, and production deployments

• Build and maintain solutions across BMC Helix ITSM, AR System/Developer Studio, and Innovation Studio

• Develop Active Links, Filters, Escalations, Forms, Guides, approvals, and business rules

• Configure and enhance Digital Workplace, Service Catalog, Smart IT, CMDB, and Asset Management

• Develop and maintain REST API / iPaaS integrations and ensure documentation and maintainability

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years hands-on development with BMC Remedy / BMC Helix

• Senior-level experience with BMC Helix ITSM and strong RUN/production support

• Hands-on knowledge of BMC Helix ITSM, AR System / Developer Studio, and Innovation Studio

• Experience with Digital Workplace, Service Catalog, CMDB, and ITSM workflows

• Proven experience with REST APIs, integrations, and automation

• Strong L3 incident resolution, debugging, root cause analysis, and permanent fixes

• Ability to deliver backlog enhancements and project developments

• Experience with testing, UAT, go-live activities, and deployments in production

• Self-sufficient, proactive, quick learner, and delivery-oriented

• Strong English communication and technical documentation skills
