Description

You will build and evolve backend systems as part of a long-term transformation program supporting complex financial and legal processes. The role focuses on designing REST APIs and distributed event-driven microservices, including asynchronous messaging, robust error handling, and database/model optimization. You will work across the full delivery lifecycle in Agile alongside business analysts and Product Owners.

Responsibilities

• Participate end-to-end in analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Design solution architecture, REST APIs, and system integrations
• Develop microservices and event-driven distributed systems
• Implement asynchronous communication and messaging using tools such as RabbitMQ, MassTransit, or Wolverine
• Add retry, error handling, idempotency, and DLQ mechanisms
• Develop components supporting automation and orchestration of business processes
• Work with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server, optimizing SQL queries and data models
• Apply DDD, CQRS, and Clean Architecture
• Ensure code quality and maintainability via Code Review, Clean Code, ADR, and architectural standards
• Collaborate with business analysts, Product Owner(s), Tech Lead, and the project team
• Participate in refinement, planning, and process improvements in Agile
• Use GitHub Copilot and LLMs as part of the development process
• Optional: develop frontend elements with Angular and TypeScript

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of commercial backend-focused software development (.NET)
• Strong practical knowledge of C# and .NET 8+
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core Web API and experience designing REST APIs
• Experience designing and developing complex integrations between systems
• Production experience with asynchronous communication and messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, MassTransit or equivalent)
• Practical knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture including retry, error handling, idempotency, and DLQ
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server
• Experience with DDD, CQRS, and Clean Architecture
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Experience with enterprise systems with complex domain logic, many integrations, or large data volumes
• Practical knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and container environments
• Ability to independently lead tasks from analysis and technical design through implementation, deployment, and maintenance
• Practical experience using GitHub Copilot and/or LLM models in daily development
• English at least B1
• Ability to actively collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
