Description

You will lead development for a production-ready platform focused on integrating with domestic and international banking systems. The work centers on extending an existing solution (deposits, withdrawals, and back-office communication), not building from scratch. You will design integration architecture, implement services, and ensure quality and reliability while coordinating the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integrations with banking systems
• Analyze technical documentation from banks and external vendors
• Design integration solutions supporting different communication models
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications using microservices architecture
• Implement data validation, normalization, and processing mechanisms
• Create tests and participate in production deployments
• Monitor integration behavior and ensure reliability
• Collaborate with international technology partners
• Prepare technical documentation and transfer knowledge to maintenance teams

Requirements

• Senior commercial Java programming experience, including very strong knowledge of Java 21/25
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with Micronaut, gRPC, and Apache Kafka
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, especially PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Experience with container environments and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Rancher
• Practical experience with monitoring and system analysis tools like Grafana and OpenSearch
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying integrations with external systems
• Ability to independently analyze vendor technical documentation and map requirements to technical solutions
• Experience designing integration solution architecture and making technical decisions
• Tech Lead experience: coordinating a development team and ensuring delivery quality
• Experience leading technical discussions with external partners and vendors
• Independence in solving complex technical problems
• English C1 or higher for fluent technical discussions
