Description

Join an international project for a large public-sector organization as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer. Develop and maintain modern web applications built on Drupal, including custom modules, backend business logic, frontend features, and integrations such as APIs and SSO. Lead technical decisions through code reviews and architectural support while ensuring performance, security, and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications

• Build Drupal solutions, including custom modules, CMS configuration, migrations, and new functionality development

• Implement backend business logic in PHP and integrate with databases and user-facing interfaces

• Develop the frontend using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript

• Design and implement APIs and integrate with external systems, including SSO

• Create dashboards, data visualizations, and interactive map components

• Ensure application performance, security, and accessibility according to public-sector standards

• Collaborate with infrastructure and container-platform teams for deployments and environment maintenance

• Perform code reviews, provide technical support, and make architectural decisions

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of commercial IT experience (or 12 years with a bachelor’s degree / 17 years with secondary education)

• Minimum 5 years of commercial backend development with PHP, Python, Java, Node.js, or similar technologies

• Minimum 2 years of commercial Drupal experience, including custom module development

• Minimum 5 years of frontend development with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience with responsive web applications across multiple browsers

• Minimum 3 years of experience designing and implementing APIs (REST/SOAP)

• Experience integrating authentication systems and Single Sign-On (SSO)

• Ability to independently design, secure, and document API interfaces

• Experience with databases and data-layer integration with web applications

• Very good English skills (at least B2)
