Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring technologies. The role covers SOAP and REST integrations, relational SQL databases, and automated unit/integration testing. You will also configure CI with Jenkins, deploy with Docker and Kubernetes, and integrate systems via ESB and RabbitMQ/Kafka while applying SOLID, TDD, Clean Code, and OWASP Top 10.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and maintenance of Java applications

• Implement solutions with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA, and ORM libraries

• Design and develop SOAP and REST service integrations

• Build and optimize solutions using relational SQL databases

• Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit 5, Spock, Mockito, AssertJ, and Arquillian

• Configure and maintain Continuous Integration processes, including independent Jenkins environment setup

• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes

• Integrate systems via ESB and RabbitMQ/Kafka queues

• Use Git and GitFlow for the software delivery process

• Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with SOLID, TDD, Clean Code, and OWASP Top 10

• Collaborate with an Agile delivery team

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Java Developer

• Very good knowledge of Java 21, Spring Framework 5, Spring Boot 3, and Java EE 6

• Experience with JPA and ORM (Hibernate, EclipseLink) and relational SQL databases

• Knowledge of JBoss, WebLogic, or GlassFish and Maven 3

• Experience creating and integrating SOAP and REST services

• Very good knowledge of SOLID, TDD, GitFlow, Clean Code, and OWASP Top 10

• Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes, including independent CI environment configuration

• Testing tools: JUnit 5, Spock, Mockito, AssertJ, Arquillian, Selenium; performance/load testing with LoadUI, JMeter, SoapUI

• Very good knowledge of ESB architecture, advanced features, and operational procedures

• Minimum 2 years of UNIX systems experience

• Knowledge of Groovy, Gradle, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and Kafka

• Experience working in Agile teams; knowledge of Scrum or AgilePM

• Polish language proficiency at C1
