Description

Design, deploy, and optimize secure, scalable enterprise network infrastructure across LAN/WAN environments. Manage Palo Alto Networks firewall projects (policies, threat prevention, VPN) and Aruba switching/wireless infrastructure (ClearPass, AirWave). Monitor performance, resolve complex issues using diagnostic tools, and enforce network security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable LAN/WAN network solutions
• Manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls: policy development, threat prevention, VPN configuration
• Manage and optimize Aruba wireless and switching infrastructure using ClearPass and AirWave
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues
• Implement and enforce network security guidelines and compliance standards
• Collaborate with functional teams to support infrastructure and business application projects
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Maintain detailed documentation (configurations, diagrams, operational procedures)
• Participate in on-call rotation and support incident response activities
• Build and support high-throughput, dark-fiber-based networking solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years of enterprise network engineering experience
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Aruba networking solutions
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and subnetting
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG)
• Ability to build and deploy secure network architectures
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Preferred certifications such as PCNSE or CCNP (or equivalent)
• Network automation and scripting experience (Python, Ansible) is a plus
• Cloud networking knowledge (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments are desired
