Description

You will manage and develop the company’s LAN/WAN network infrastructure and ensure its reliable operation. The work includes configuration and troubleshooting across switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, routing, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and connectivity between sites, data centers, and cloud. You will also help analyze incidents and determine whether the root cause is in the network, a server, or an application.

Responsibilities

• Administer and develop LAN/WAN infrastructure

• Configure and manage switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs

• Ensure connectivity between locations, data centers, and cloud environments

• Manage and troubleshoot routing, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and VPN

• Address network security and communication rules

• Contribute to administration of the network environment in Microsoft Azure

• Monitor infrastructure availability and performance

• Analyze and resolve operational incidents

• Perform basic L2 management and diagnostics for Linux and Windows servers

• Work with system logs, services, and server network configuration

• Collaborate with system administrators, security, DevOps, and other technical teams

• Design changes and further infrastructure development

• Create and maintain technical and operational documentation

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of TCP/IP and network principles

• Practical experience with routing and switching

• Knowledge of VLAN, DNS, DHCP, NAT

• Experience administering firewalls and VPN

• Ability to independently diagnose network problems

• Orientation in network security

• Basic knowledge of virtualization

• Orientation in Active Directory and infrastructure services

• Ability to work with logs and diagnose operational issues

• Independence, responsibility, and drive to complete tasks
