• Role: Network Engineer (ITOps – Global Network Infrastructure)

Description

You will lead the development, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable enterprise network infrastructure across LAN/WAN. The role includes managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Aruba wireless and switching (ClearPass and AirWave), monitoring and troubleshooting complex issues, and enforcing network security guidelines and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable LAN/WAN network solutions
• Manage Palo Alto firewalls: policy development, threat prevention, VPN configuration
• Manage and optimize Aruba wireless and switching infrastructure with ClearPass and AirWave
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot complex network issues
• Implement and enforce network security and compliance standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and business applications
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Maintain documentation (configurations, diagrams, operational procedures)
• Participate in on-call rotation and support incident response
• Build and support dark fiber solutions for high-capacity network infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience
• Skills in Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Aruba networking solutions
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and subnetting
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG)
• Proven ability to build and implement secure network architectures
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP, or equivalent preferred
• Advantage: network automation/scripting (Python, Ansible)
• Desirable: cloud networking familiarity (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments
