  • Help guide hardware purchases toward strong price-to-performance outcomes

  • Establish and optimize peering relationships with Tier 1 transit providers, Internet exchanges, and other network operators

  • Monitor network stability, prevent and mitigate abuse, and optimize transit costs

  • Participate in hardware installations and resolve real-world deployment issues

  • Provide on-call coverage for network-related issues and incident management

Requirements

  • Operated networks at scale (Tbps throughput, thousands of physical servers or more)

  • Async-first, meeting-averse style; comfortable using Slack, Notion, Loom, and e-mail

  • Infrastructure as code is a default approach

Benefits

  • Work with a distributed team building network infrastructure for cloud-scale products across multiple time zones

  • Lead in-house network management and support network incident response as the environment scales

  • Fast-moving, engineering-focused culture with asynchronous collaboration
