Description

Build an innovative reporting system to measure AI initiative adoption and benefits using the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. You will create data pipelines and Power BI reporting (including semantic modeling), then implement a conversational “chat with your data” experience for business users. The role emphasizes translating business questions into measurable KPIs and validating the reliability of AI-generated answers.

Responsibilities

• Build data flows in Microsoft Fabric (ingestion, transformations, data modeling/structuring across multiple sources)

• Create a semantic model and design Power BI reports (Phase 1)

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs for AI adoption and ROI (Phase 1)

• Implement conversational access to data based on the semantic model (e.g., Fabric data agent, Power BI Copilot, or custom LLM integrations) (Phase 2)

• Ensure system reliability by designing test question sets, validating generated responses, and defining guardrails

Requirements

• Documented, hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse/Warehouse, pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, notebooks)

• Advanced Power BI knowledge (modeling, DAX, semantic models)

• Solid SQL and Python/PySpark experience, including integrating data from diverse sources (APIs, files, databases, SaaS)

• Practical interest in and understanding of GenAI for data analytics (text-to-SQL/DAX, Fabric data agents, Copilot, prompt engineering basics, and LLM quality evaluation)

• Ability to communicate with business stakeholders, proactively clarifying requirements and designing solutions around business value

• High independence and strong problem-solving attitude

• English proficiency at C1 level or higher
