Quick Facts

• Remote (100%)

• Start: ASAP

• Contract: B2B

• Project duration: 6 months (option to extend)

Description

The project builds an AI adoption and benefits reporting system on Microsoft Fabric, with a target “chat with your data” experience.

You will lead the data pipeline and Power BI reporting (Stage 1), including semantic modeling and dashboards, and then implement conversational access to the data based on the semantic model (Stage 2) using Fabric data agents/Copilot or an LLM-based approach.

You’ll translate business questions into measurable KPIs and ensure the reliability of responses through testing and verification.

Responsibilities

• Build data ingestion and transformation pipelines in Microsoft Fabric from multiple sources.

• Create a Power BI semantic model and reports (Stage 1).

• Define with the business KPIs for AI adoption and benefits.

• Implement conversational access to data based on the semantic model (Stage 2), e.g., Fabric data agent, Copilot in Power BI, or your own LLM solution.

• Ensure trustworthy answers by running test question sets, verifying correctness, and setting clear boundaries on what users can ask.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years in a similar role.

• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience: Lakehouse/Warehouse, pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, notebooks.

• Strong Power BI skills: modeling, DAX, semantic modeling.

• Strong SQL; experience with Python/PySpark; integration from APIs, files, databases, and SaaS.

• Experience or strong interest in GenAI over data (text-to-SQL/DAX, Fabric data agents or Copilot), including prompt engineering basics and evaluation of LLM output quality.

• Ability to discuss and refine requirements with business users independently and think in terms of KPIs and business value.

• Proactive, independent working style and comfort working directly with US clients.

• English level C1.
