Description

Build a banking analytics reporting system that measures adoption and business benefits of AI initiatives, with a goal interface of “chat with your data.” You will create data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric, develop Power BI semantic models and reports, and work with business stakeholders to translate questions into measurable KPIs. You will also implement conversational data access over a semantic model using Microsoft Fabric data agents, Power BI Copilot, or an LLM-based custom solution.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric (ingestion, transformations, data modeling) from multiple sources

• Build an initial semantic model and Power BI reports

• Define AI adoption and benefit KPIs and translate business questions into measurable indicators

• Enable conversational natural-language access to data based on the semantic model (Fabric data agent, Copilot in Power BI, or LLM solution)

• Prepare test question sets, verify answer correctness, and define clear boundaries for valid questions

• Lead end-to-end data and reporting development independently and refine requirements with a US client

Requirements

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse/Warehouse, pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, notebooks)

• Very good Power BI knowledge for modeling, DAX, and semantic model creation

• Good SQL knowledge and experience with Python or PySpark for integrating data from API, files, databases, and SaaS

• Experience or real interest in GenAI over data: text-to-SQL/DAX, Fabric data agents or Copilot, prompt engineering basics, and LLM response quality evaluation

• Strong communication skills with business stakeholders; KPI/value-oriented thinking; proactive and independent working style

• English level C1

• Availability ASAP; acceptable notice up to the end of the month (max ~1 month)
