Description

Build and maintain data integration and ETL pipelines that feed a data mart and relational target models. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data scope, transform and validate data from multiple sources (Oracle, SQL Server, Kafka, JSON/XML and text files), and support Power BI reporting/dashboard layers. Diagnose production data-processing and data-quality problems and maintain technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and work with stakeholders to define data scope
• Design data models for a data mart
• Build integration processes and ETL pipelines from multiple sources (Oracle, SQL Server, Kafka, JSON/TXT files)
• Transform and map data into the target relational model
• Prepare data-processing algorithms as efficient stored procedures
• Prepare and maintain the data layer used by Power BI reports and dashboards
• Diagnose and resolve data processing and data-quality issues
• Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (design, development, maintenance)
• Very strong T-SQL skills (stored procedures, functions, views, query performance optimization)
• Extensive SSIS experience (build, maintain, troubleshoot ETL/integration processes)
• Experience designing and building data warehouses and data marts
• Practical experience processing JSON, XML, and text files (parsing, validation, transformation)
• Experience in data modeling and optimizing structures for reporting/analytics
• Experience integrating data from Oracle, SQL Server, Kafka, and data exchange files
• Ability to design and implement data feed processes (ingestion, transformation, validation, publishing)
• Ability to independently collaborate with business/technical stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions and data models
• Experience diagnosing and resolving issues in production environments
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
• Occasional office visits in Katowice
