Description

Design and implement a data mart that supports reporting and analytics for a bank business area. Implement integration processes and ETL pipelines to periodically acquire and process data from Oracle and SQL Server databases, Kafka messages, and JSON/XML/TXT files. Transform and map data into the target relational model, build efficient stored procedures, and prepare and maintain the data layer used by Power BI reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Implement data integration and ETL for recurring data ingestion from multiple sources

• Analyze business requirements with stakeholders and define the data scope

• Transform and map data into a relational target model

• Prepare algorithms as efficient stored procedures

• Build and maintain the data layer powering Power BI reports and dashboards

• Diagnose and resolve data-processing and data-quality issues

• Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server: design, development, and database maintenance

• Very strong T-SQL knowledge (stored procedures, functions, views) and query performance optimization

• Practical experience with SSIS (integration processes, ETL build/maintenance/troubleshooting)

• Experience designing and building data warehouses and data marts

• Practical ability to process JSON, XML, and text files (parsing, validation, relational transformation)

• Data modeling experience and optimization for reporting and analytics

• Experience integrating data from multiple sources, especially Oracle, SQL Server, Kafka messages, and data exchange files

• Ability to design and implement data ingestion processes (acquire, transform, validate, publish)

• Stakeholder collaboration skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions and data models

• Experience diagnosing and resolving issues in production environments

• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
