Description

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for both batch and streaming data processing. Implement transformations, validation rules, and data quality controls; integrate data from source systems into analytical target structures; and optimize SQL queries and data-processing performance for large volumes. Develop orchestration and monitoring mechanisms, prepare technical tests, maintain technical documentation, and support deployments and technical issue resolution in collaboration with data analysts and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes

• Implement batch and streaming data processing workflows

• Create data transformations and validation/quality-control rules

• Implement error identification and processing mechanisms

• Integrate data from source systems into analytical structures

• Optimize SQL queries and data processing performance

• Analyze and improve solutions handling large-scale data

• Develop orchestration and monitoring for data processing

• Prepare technical tests and verify processed data correctness

• Create and update technical documentation

• Use code repositories and participate in code reviews

• Support deployments and troubleshoot technical problems

• Collaborate with data analysts, data modelers, architects, and maintenance teams

Requirements

• Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes

• Experience with batch and/or streaming data processing

• Very strong SQL knowledge

• Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python)

• Knowledge of data warehouse architecture and Data Lake/Lakehouse concepts

• Knowledge of orchestration and monitoring concepts for data processing

• Experience optimizing SQL queries and data-processing performance

• Experience working with large data volumes

• Ability to implement data quality assurance mechanisms

• Experience working with code repositories and participating in code reviews

• Experience preparing technical tests and documentation

• Ability to collaborate with data analysts, architects, and technical teams

• Independence, analytical approach, and ability to solve technical problems
