Description

Work on scalable data engineering projects building streaming and batch processing pipelines, data transformations, and data governance solutions using Databricks and related technologies. You will develop applications to aggregate, process, and analyze data, collaborate with Data Science on machine learning initiatives, and help create Power BI dashboards. You will also support CI/CD and MLOps processes and translate business requirements into high-performance technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data processing pipelines for streaming and batch processing
• Contribute to CI/CD and MLOps development
• Build applications to aggregate, process, and analyze data from diverse sources
• Collaborate with Data Science on ML projects (text/image analysis and predictive modeling)
• Develop and organize data transformations using Databricks/DBT and Apache Airflow
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions ensuring optimal performance and quality

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial experience with Big Data systems
• Strong Python skills (clean code and OOP)
• Experience with data governance and data management processes
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies: Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Dagster, or dbt
• Cloud deployment experience, preferably Azure
• Knowledge of building and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards
• Strong understanding of dimensional data and data modeling
• Excellent communication skills and consulting experience with client interaction
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
• Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related)
