Description

Lead the design of the Data Lakehouse data model and the roadmap for its development to support the organization’s analytics initiatives. You will define the target DLH data architecture, data layers and modeling standards, and ensure the architecture aligns with business needs. You will also shape data governance, metadata/data catalog concepts, data pipeline standards, and self-service analytics enablement.

Responsibilities

• Define the target Data Lakehouse architecture, including data layers and how they are used

• Prepare data modeling standards and manage alignment of the data architecture with business requirements

• Design new data domains and business areas; support the development of analytics solutions

• Define standards for sharing data for reporting and analytics; develop the architecture supporting self-service analytics

• Create the data catalog “knowledge layer”: metadata model, data classification standards, and rules for data resource description, search, and management; support data catalog implementation

• Define Data Governance standards, design data quality control processes, recommend data quality monitoring, and support metadata management

• Design logical data flows between sources and the DLH, model integration processes, define data exchange standards, and support rollouts for new business domains

• Act as a technical lead: plan tasks for Data Engineers, supervise technical execution, perform code reviews, support team implementation, choose technologies, and resolve technical issues

• Specify solution components (e.g., data sources, transformations, repositories)

• Ensure platform monitoring and testing mechanisms

• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers to build and maintain platform infrastructure

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience

• At least 3 years in a comparable role

• Higher education degree

• Communicative English
