Description

Design, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance data warehouse architecture aligned with business needs. Define and enforce architecture standards and best practices for data, file spaces (e.g., blob storage), and real-time data pipelines. Ensure consistency, quality, and usability of data used in business analytics while building tooling and governing ETL/ELT processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data warehouse architecture for scalability and performance

• Define, implement, and enforce data architecture standards and best practices

• Create consistent data structures and naming conventions

• Build and configure tooling that supports data architects (e.g., data catalogs)

• Oversee implementation and development of ETL and ELT processes

• Ensure high data quality, consistency, and usability for business analytics

• Maintain data architecture consistency and compliance with data governance, security, and data quality rules

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data architecture and cloud solutions, especially in GCP or Azure

• Practical experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake

• Very good SQL knowledge

• Experience with data processing pipeline design, documentation, and implementation including code versioning, CI/CD, and data testing

• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and integration of data from multiple sources

• Knowledge of data quality, information security, and data governance principles
