Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable domain data models that translate business requirements into reusable, well-structured data solutions. Provide technical direction and support to engineering teams while ensuring data assets remain consistent, reliable, and aligned with standards. Take ownership of the domain data foundation and collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate data priorities, governance, and quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain domain data models

• Provide technical direction and support to engineering teams

• Oversee modifications to domain data assets (integrity, consistency, reliability)

• Own the domain data foundation (accurate definitions, high data quality, consistency)

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Managers, Analytical Product Managers, and delivery teams to identify priorities

• Oversee data operations and service performance; improve efficiency and optimize processes

• Promote data governance standards (metadata, data lineage, data quality)

Requirements

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills

• Solid experience in data modeling (conceptual and logical data modeling)

• Strong SQL knowledge and hands-on experience with modern data platforms (preferably Databricks)

• Ability to understand business needs and transform them into technical specifications and scalable data models

• Good understanding of lakehouse architecture, data integration, and analytical data environments

• Experience working with cross-functional teams (business stakeholders, Product Managers, Data Engineers, Technical Leads)
