Description

The Senior IT Business Analyst bridges the gap between business stakeholders and the IT team by translating business strategies into detailed technical requirements. You will enable requirements traceability across end-to-end development, own requirements documentation (including use cases), and help ensure solution quality. You will also support testers and developers and validate outcomes using test results while providing insights on solution effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business strategies aligned with sustainable solutions

• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements with stakeholders including architects, developers, testers, business, and legal

• Translate business strategies into detailed technical requirements for the IT team

• Maintain requirements traceability through development

• Own requirements documentation (including use cases) and drive quality improvements

• Support testers and developers across the team and hub

• Verify developed solutions by reviewing test results

• Provide insights to stakeholders on the effectiveness of implemented solutions

Requirements

• Experience in IT and/or business analysis

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

• Experience using Jira and Confluence

• Experience or knowledge of API development, data mapping, and process modelling

• Knowledge of the banking sector and payment domain

• Practical knowledge of SQL, plus user interface prototyping and design

• Knowledge of architecture diagrams such as sequence diagrams

• Solid technical knowledge for collaboration with developers

• Proficiency with analysis tools and methodologies
