Description

You will analyze business requirements and data for solutions in the area of claims and benefits. The work includes preparing analyses and project documentation, defining requirements for data and reporting solutions with business users, and supporting developers during design, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and business processes

• Develop analyses, functional specifications, and project documentation

• Cooperate with business users to define requirements for data and reporting solutions

• Analyze large volumes of data for projects and testing

• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and expected results

• Work with software teams during design and implementation of data/reporting solutions

• Participate in development and transformation projects for data and reporting environments

Requirements

• Strong SQL knowledge for independent data analysis

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business or systems analysis in data, data warehousing, or BI

• Ability to work with large volumes of data

• Experience preparing analytical documentation and requirements specifications

• Experience preparing test scenarios and test cases

• Analytical thinking and ability to model business processes

• Ability to directly collaborate with business users

• Preferred: insurance domain knowledge; SAS; experience in data warehouse projects, data migration, or data architecture redesign
