Description

The project includes development and maintenance of a portfolio of IT solutions supporting a large European organization. It involves business applications and intranet/extranet platforms that automate processes and improve user communication and collaboration. The Business Analyst will focus on requirement work, process modeling, and translating business needs into functional specifications.

Role description / Responsibilities

• Model and document business processes, value streams, roles, organizational capabilities, and data

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and user stories

• Collaborate with business experts, Product Owners, and technical teams to define requirements and evolve IT solutions

• Track requirements throughout the system lifecycle and convert business needs into functional specifications

• Analyze existing systems, identify potential solutions, and participate in feasibility analyses and business justifications

• Participate in system design, testing, quality assurance, and change management

• Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and plan and implement improvement initiatives

• Analyze process effectiveness, including costs, benefits, and potential change scenarios

• Work with process owners and stakeholders to plan organizational changes and develop business architecture

• Support users during rollout of changes, including training planning and building new competencies

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the IT industry

• At least 3 years of experience in projects in the same profile or in a similar role

• Experience delivering at least one full lifecycle of an IT solution

• Business Analyst experience on a large project lasting over 1 year with a budget exceeding €1M

• Practical knowledge of BPMN process modeling and UML notation (activity/state diagrams, capabilities, logical data models) and tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or ARIS Architect

• Experience eliciting and analyzing business requirements, creating user stories, and maintaining analytical and project documentation

• Experience analyzing processes in finance, law, HR, or administration (logistics/warehouse, asset/fleet, or project processes are an advantage)

• Experience analyzing business solutions based on Microsoft technologies: SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Subscription Edition, SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps

• Very good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders

• Business analysis certificate (e.g., CCBA, UML Professional Foundation, BPM 2 Fundamental)

• University degree

• English at C1 level
