• Role: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Shared Services)

Description

You will spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of both front-end and back-end applications. Build web services using Python FastAPI, maintain and enhance a React front end, and deploy changes using Terraform Infrastructure as Code. You will own the end-to-end software development lifecycle from ideation through design, deployment, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend web services with Python FastAPI
• Maintain and enhance front-end code developed in React
• Deploy work regularly using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle (ideation, design, deployment, monitoring)
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Create comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Lead code reviews and champion best practices
• Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve the technology stack
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and technical excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (code reviews, source control, build processes, testing)
• Experience developing Terraform Infrastructure as Code to deploy work
• Demonstrated expertise in writing comprehensive tests (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Strong understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases (including DynamoDB)
• Proven product development experience translating business requirements into scalable, user-centric software
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive, self-driven attitude toward learning, innovation, and continuous improvement
