Description

Own and ship product features end to end, from problem scoping to backend implementation and production release. Design and deliver LLM agents that reason over large, messy organizational data with enough reliability to earn trust. Operate with high autonomy, set the engineering quality bar, and make architecture, data modeling, API, and tooling decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver backend product features end to end
• Build and ship LLM agents for organizational data reasoning
• Make key technical decisions (architecture, data modeling, APIs, tooling)
• Lead high-risk, high-impact projects with minimal hand-holding
• Collaborate with the founding team to shape product direction

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend experience in production-deployed, customer-facing software at scale
• Startup DNA: top-tier startups (Series B or earlier) or founder experience
• Current US/Canada work authorization without employer sponsorship
• Deep Python expertise and strong systems design/architecture skills
• Proficiency in API design and SQL data stores
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or agentic AI/agent frameworks
• Generalist mindset across the product surface, not only pure infra
• Product mindset connecting technical work to business/customer impact

Benefits

• Base salary: $190,000 to $300,000
• Meaningful founding-level equity
