Description

You will develop and execute system-level test (SLT) strategies and platforms spanning hardware and software for cloud compute silicon and infrastructure products. The role emphasizes correlation of power/performance from system to ATE, building automation and data infrastructure, and debugging system-level failures. You will also use characterization and performance data to optimize outgoing quality and power/performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop system level test (SLT) and platform strategy, requirements, tools, and methodologies across hardware and software.

• Collaborate to integrate hardware, firmware, content, and automation solutions for the SLT platform.

• Perform product characterization and correlation for power/performance from system to ATE.

• Generate and leverage correlation/characterization/performance data to optimize outgoing quality and power/performance.

• Define and contribute to software automation infrastructure for SLT and system-to-tester correlation.

• Manage multiple development activities across diverse product groups.

• Conduct system level failure triage and debug across silicon, hardware, and software.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 2+ year(s) technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience.

• Ability to meet required Microsoft/customer/government security screening, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

• Ability to access export-controlled information; provide proof of country of citizenship or US residency/protected status (e.g., via passport verification) for eligibility assessment.

Benefits

• Competitive base pay range (U.S.): USD $102,100–$202,200 per year; location-dependent ranges include USD $133,800–$219,200 for San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metro.
