  • Focus: ATE and SLT hardware readiness, bring-up, production debugging, yield improvement, test industrialization, and cost reduction

  • Test coverage: Wafer probe/Circuit Probe (CP), packaged-device Final Test (FT), and System-Level Test (SLT)

Description

Lead silicon production test hardware readiness and optimization for advanced silicon during production ramp and high-volume manufacturing. Drive ATE/SLT bring-up, qualification, and debugging, investigate production failures, and improve reliability, throughput, and overall cost. Partner with internal test development and silicon process teams plus foundries, OSATs, test houses, and test hardware vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ATE and SLT hardware readiness, industrialization, and optimization to support high-volume manufacturing

  • Drive bring-up, qualification, and debugging of probe cards, load boards, sockets, SLT boards, fixtures, and thermal hardware; establish measurement repeatability and correlation across equipment and sites

  • Analyze yield, wafer maps, failure bins, parametric data, and SLT logs to identify performance trends and yield-loss patterns

  • Coordinate fault isolation and physical failure analysis with foundry and OSAT partners; manage containment, root-cause identification, and validation of corrective actions

  • Evaluate and qualify new test hardware vendors, equipment, tools, software, and automation solutions; define technical requirements and validate improvements through controlled trials

  • Reduce cost per good device by analyzing test time, multisite efficiency, retest, utilization, capacity, and hardware life while maintaining approved test coverage and outgoing quality

  • Maintain approved test configurations and device traceability across CP, FT, and SLT; coordinate production deployment and technical changes via established approval processes

  • Improve test hardware reliability and availability through technical reviews and issue resolution with foundry, OSAT, and turnkey partners
