Quick Facts

  • Role: Module Integration Engineer (2nm GAAFET FEOL integration)

  • Focus modules: RPMG and CTSDB

Description

Own and optimize the FEOL integration of RPMG and CTSDB modules to meet 2nm device specifications. Collaborate with unit process engineers across lithography, etch, deposition (ALD/CVD), and CMP, and use DOE and advanced metrology to analyze performance and failures. Drive data-driven yield improvement by correlating process parameters with device outcomes and support design reviews for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

  • Module ownership and continuous trend monitoring with fast response to integration risks/issues

  • Collaborate with etch/CVD/ALD/CMP/litho unit process teams to address process control and optimization risks

  • Execute and analyze DOE to understand how process variations impact electrical performance

  • Perform failure analysis using advanced metrology (TEM/SEM/AFM/EDX) and implement corrective actions

  • Use statistical software and programming (e.g., Spotfire, Python, SQL) to analyze large datasets and correlate process parameters with yield

  • Participate in design reviews and synchronization meetings with Device and Layout teams

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related field (industry experience can substitute)

  • Preference for Ph.D. in a related field

  • Deep knowledge of MOSFET physics (GAAFET preferred; FinFET also acceptable), especially interfacial physics

  • Process understanding of semiconductor steps including deposition (ALD/CVD), etch, and CMP

  • Intermediate proficiency in Python, R, and SQL

  • High comfort with Excel and PowerPoint (including VLOOKUP and MATCH)

  • Proficiency with Spotfire, Minitab, or similar statistical tools

  • Awareness of Waterfall/Agile workflows and experience with Confluence and Jira

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Life insurance and 401(k) matching with immediate vesting

  • Onsite cafés and workout facilities

  • Paid maternity and paternity leave

  • Paid time off (PTO) + personal and regular holidays

  • Wellness incentives

  • Potential MBO bonuses

All positions are full-time on-site.
