Description

Design, implement, test, review, and maintain Unity’s Monetization platform, product, and services so developers can build businesses through advertising, in-app purchases, and analytics. Write high-quality, scalable code and ensure successful delivery by improving scalability and performance and processing large volumes of data. Contribute to functional requirements that move toward rule engines and machine learning, while managing project priorities and translating business needs into engineering features.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, review, and maintain monetization systems and services

• Deliver high-quality, scalable code supporting current and future product functionality

• Drive scalability and performance improvements; handle large data volumes

• Work toward use of rule engines and machine learning

• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

• Translate business requirements into engineering features

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field, plus 3 years of related experience

• 3 years’ experience with designing APIs and backend services/systems

• 3 years’ experience implementing and reviewing code in Golang, Nodejs, Typescript, and Python

• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and key-value storage (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB, Redis)

• Experience with BigQuery or other data warehousing solutions

• Experience with streaming platforms/queues (e.g., Kafka, Nats)

• Experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure

• Experience creating Python Notebooks for dataset analysis and insights

• Ability to coordinate product and delivery end to end
