Description

Backend Developers design, develop, code, debug, and maintain software applications. The role includes participation in the full software development lifecycle—requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support—while applying object-oriented principles and performing quality assurance and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, debug, and maintain software applications

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle

• Analyze software, code, and requirements to identify issues and improve performance

• Apply OOA/OOD principles; develop software models and perform simulations when required

• Conduct software testing and quality assurance

• Perform performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting

• Integrate applications with existing systems and third-party platforms

• Maintain technical documentation and support existing application functionality

• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements

• Ensure coding standards and compliance requirements are met

• Support localization and globalization requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

• Experience in application development and the software development lifecycle

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles

• Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and quality assurance

• Experience with application integration, maintenance, and performance optimization

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
