Description

Build and enhance scalable, production-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. The role focuses on processing high-volume real-time streaming data and messaging, integrating cloud messaging services (Azure preferred), and working with NoSQL databases. You will own development through deployment and support production operations with logging, monitoring, performance optimization, and incident resolution.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot

• Troubleshoot, modify, and implement new functionality within existing codebases

• Process high-volume, real-time streaming data and messaging

• Develop and integrate applications using cloud-based messaging services (Azure experience preferred)

• Design and work with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or DynamoDB

• Support production applications with logging, monitoring, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and incident resolution

• Partner with engineering and cloud teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with backend Java development and Spring Boot

• Experience building or supporting real-time streaming and messaging applications

• Experience with Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies

• Experience working within a cloud environment, with Azure preferred

• Experience supporting high-volume production applications, including monitoring, logging, and performance tuning

• Strong understanding of NoSQL databases and data modeling

• Kubernetes experience is a plus
