Description

Join a multi-squad team modernizing a legacy customer servicing platform. The role is mostly focused on Java/backend services, with front-end (Angular) experience helpful. Participate in an application delivery team to deliver high-quality solutions using best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, distributed, multi-threaded applications using Java/Spring

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle

• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code

• Prepare and produce releases of software components

• Build and manage development, test, integration, performance, and stage environments

• Collaborate in design reviews, development, and code reviews

• Identify opportunities to improve standards, best practices, and development methodologies

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent work experience in a related discipline (Computer Science, Engineering)

• 5+ years of Java development experience

• Front-end development experience with Angular

• Hands-on software development experience

• Hands-on experience designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms

• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies

• Experience with the Spring Framework
