Description

Enhance existing backend services and build new scalable backend applications using Go within AWS serverless and multi-tier architectures. Work in an Agile Scrum team to design, test, deploy, and automate unit testing and validation workflows. Develop RESTful backend services and microservices hosted in AWS, including components deployed on EC2.

Responsibilities

• Enhance existing services and develop new backend applications for AWS serverless and multi-tier architecture frameworks (including EC2 deployments)
• Participate in design sessions to translate customer functional requirements
• Perform requirements analysis, effort estimation, release analysis, and deployment activities
• Collaborate with architects, technical leads, developers, and DevOps teams to build prototypes leveraging existing and new architectures
• Automate unit testing, deployment, and validation processes with development and support teams
• Follow coding standards and best practices; prepare and maintain low-level design documentation for product features

Requirements

• Hands-on development experience with Golang
• Hands-on experience working on AWS cloud platforms
• Expertise in coding and implementing backend RESTful services
• Experience working with AWS infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases: DynamoDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ElasticCache
• Experience with JFrog Xray, SonarQube, JUnit, or equivalent tools
• Experience with build and deployment tools such as GitHub and equivalent CI/CD platforms
• Strong understanding of unit testing methodologies, release planning, and deployment processes
• Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of software development experience
• Proven experience developing scalable backend applications and services in cloud-based environments
• Mandatory: Java and Microservices
