Description

Assist in providing basic hygiene, promoting nutrition, and maintaining skin integrity for oncology patients under RN supervision. Perform routine data collection and help maintain a clean and safe environment. This is a part-time evening role with weekend rotation.

Requirements

• HS diploma or equivalent combination of education and recent related experience

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider certification (required)

• CNA certification highly preferred

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to provide basic patient care to a diverse patient population

• Customer-service oriented attitude

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals

• Ability to write routine reports

• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations

• Basic math skills (whole numbers, fractions, decimals)

• Ability to follow written/oral/diagram instructions and handle standardized situations

• Acute care experience (1 year) preferred
