Description

Hospitalist physician role supporting daytime inpatient coverage with nights handled by nocturnists. You’ll work within a partially open ICU structure where a 24-hour intensivist team manages ventilated and pressor patients. The position uses Epic EMR and does not require procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospital coverage during scheduled 12-hour day shifts (7 am – 7 pm)
• Manage patients within the hospitalist scope during the day
• Coordinate care and handoffs with nocturnists for night coverage
• Work with the intensivist team for ICU cases as needed

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Ability to work the 7-on/7-off, 12-hour day shift schedule
• Hospitalist experience for inpatient management
• Licensure/credentials for hospital employment in Massachusetts
