Description

Provide diagnostic and therapeutic urgent care services to patients of all ages. Conduct medical histories, examinations, test ordering and interpretation, diagnoses, and treatment planning; document encounters thoroughly and accurately. Perform minor procedures (e.g., laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal) and minor orthopedic immobilization (splinting/casting), and conduct follow-up calls to patients and respond to incoming calls from patients, pharmacies, or physicians.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Urgent Care, or Internal Medicine (with urgent care)
• Successful completion of an approved residency training program
• Active New York State Medical Practitioner License
• Active DEA and DPS registration for prescription writing
• Urgent care or Emergency Department experience
• Ability to document patient encounters accurately
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
