Description

Essen Health Care is hiring Nurse Practitioners for multiple specialties and care settings, including primary care, urgent care, house calls, and hybrid/remote psychiatry. You will provide patient-centered care by examining, diagnosing, treating, documenting clinical information, and coordinating referrals when needed. The role includes training and support, flexible schedules, and competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients

• Collect, record, and maintain accurate patient information

• Document history (past medical, family, social), review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment, and plan

• Order or execute tests, analyses, and diagnostic imaging

• Analyze test and exam findings to diagnose conditions

• Administer or prescribe treatments

• Order lab and imaging tests to manage an immediate treatment plan

• Vaccinate patients against communicable diseases

• Advise patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention

• Consult with specialists as needed and refer patients within the network

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a Nurse Practitioner program (Family or Adult Geriatrics)

• Current New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner

• National Board Certification via AANP, ANCC, or ONCC

• Spanish bilingual skills are a plus

• EMR/EHR experience is a plus
