Description

Deliver outpatient care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions and acute or chronic pain under the general guidance of a physician specializing in anesthesiology and pain management.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop care plans

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests

• Order physical therapy

• Prescribe medications

• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-recognized physician assistant program or a CCNE- or ACEN-accredited nurse practitioner program

• State of Michigan Physician’s Assistant license or applicable Nurse Practitioner specialty certification

• Controlled Substance License

• AHA BLS Certification
