• Role: Part-time Advanced Practice Provider in Anesthesia & Pain Management (outpatient)

• Location: Primary office in Clinton Township, Michigan; occasional travel to Rochester

Description

Provide outpatient care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions and acute or chronic pain. Evaluate, manage, and treat patients under general guidance of a physician specializing in anesthesiology and pain management.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests

• Order physical therapy

• Prescribe medications

• Monitor patient progress

• Provide compassionate patient care

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-recognized physician assistant training program or a CCNE- or ACEN-accredited nurse practitioner program

• State of Michigan Physician’s Assistant license or applicable Nurse Practitioner specialty certification

• Controlled Substance License

• AHA BLS Certification
