Description

You will assess chronic pain patients through detailed history and physical exams, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop patient-centered treatment plans combining medication with other supported modalities. You will monitor and evaluate patient responses, maintain accurate records, and coordinate appropriate care with other health professionals. The role also includes managing medication refills and supporting ongoing professional development to maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed history and physical exams to assess chronic pain conditions
• Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans using medications and other supported modalities
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists, and physical therapists to facilitate appropriate patient care
• Interpret diagnostic tests including EEGs, MRIs, and CT scans
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment plans
• Handle medication refill requests and support ongoing patient care
• Promote professional development through independent study and education programs

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board-certified with 3+ years of experience
• Valid State of Michigan medical license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
