Description

Provide daily pain management duties including physical exams and immunizations, diagnosing conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans. Consult with professional staff on clinical assessment findings and patient treatment plans while maintaining complete responsibility for patient care decisions and documentation. Emphasize compassionate, appropriate, effective care with a strong focus on preventative care and disease management.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and immunizations

• Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide clinical consultation regarding assessment findings and treatment plans

• Maintain professional responsibility for assessment, patient care decisions, and documentation

• Comply with CPRS documentation procedures (timeliness and proper patient check-out)

• Provide compassionate, appropriate, effective care that promotes good health

• Manage overall patient care related to lifestyle and development issues

• Emphasize preventative care and disease management

Requirements

• MD or Doctor

• Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Successful completion of an approved residency training program

• Active license

• Current New York State Medical Practitioner License

• Current DEA and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration for prescription writing

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
