Description

You will provide legal support for large onshore power grid expansion projects and serve as the central point of contact for planning, permitting, and environmental questions. The role includes strategic legal guidance during planning and permitting preparation, drafting and supporting application/approval documents, and preparing and defending permitting decisions in court. You will also represent the company’s interests with authorities and industry associations.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support for major onshore electricity grid expansion projects

• Be the key point of contact for planning, permitting, and environmental law matters

• Provide strategic advice during planning and permitting preparation

• Create and legally support permitting documentation

• Prepare and defend permitting decisions before courts

• Represent company interests in legal matters with authorities and associations

Requirements

• Completed legal studies with the second legal state examination (Fully qualified lawyer or in-house counsel)

• Several years of relevant professional experience in planning and permitting law

• In-depth knowledge of emissions control and environmental law

• Strong team spirit and motivation for legal work

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Solution-oriented approach with a sense for legal risks
