Description

Act as the interface between the legal department and operational units, advising on real estate business law matters. Support transactions from contracting through successful closing, including purchase/exchange agreements, portfolio transactions, and disposals with build or usage obligations. Perform real-estate due diligence, identify legal opportunities and risks, and develop practical recommendations based on legal risk analyses.

Responsibilities

• Advise on purchase/exchange contracts, portfolio transactions, and real estate sales with build/use obligations and other contract-law topics

• Conduct real-estate due diligence reviews

• Identify and assess legal opportunities and risks in real estate transactions

• Prepare practical action recommendations based on legal risk analyses

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts in the real estate business context

• Legally support transaction and contract processes up to closing

Requirements

• Law degree completed with two state examinations

• Several years of professional experience in real estate business law

• Ideally strong knowledge of land registry (Grundbuch) law

• Strong negotiation skills and a confident, assertive presence

• High persuasiveness and ability to recognize and enforce legal and business interests
