Description

You will analyze customer commercial, technical, operational, and economic needs and design functional, technically sound solutions for large C&I and utility projects (PV/FVE, BESS, EMS, hybrid systems). You’ll support tender and offer materials, collaborate with internal sales to present and defend solutions, and evaluate technical concepts considering legislative, normative, and grid-connection requirements. You’ll also coordinate technical compatibility checks with suppliers, run techno-economic analyses (ROI, LCOE, operational scenarios), support commissioning and performance validation, and provide ongoing technical consultation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and propose functional technical solutions for commercial and utility projects for tender documentation
• Collaborate with the internal sales team to present and defend proposed solutions
• Evaluate technical concepts and their suitability to customer goals, including legislative and normative requirements and grid-connection needs
• Work with technology suppliers and verify compatibility, certifications, and technical constraints
• Perform techno-economic analyses (ROI, LCOE, operational scenarios)
• Oversee technical implementation, commissioning, and achievement of performance parameters
• Provide technical consultation and customer support
• Collaborate with Quality & Customer Care on technical issues and escalations
• Monitor energy technology trends and propose innovative solutions
• Share internal know-how and support technical training

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in designing and/or implementing photovoltaic and battery systems (BESS) for larger C&I and utility projects
• Knowledge of energy systems and connection conditions to distribution or transmission networks
• Experience in technical solution design and a consulting-oriented role
• Excellent Czech language skills (spoken and written)
• English at least B2 (spoken and written) to work with professional technical terminology
• Technical education in electrical engineering, energy, or a related field
• User-level proficiency with PC tools (MS Office) and technical documentation
• Valid driver’s license category B
