Description

As a Finance Project Controller, you plan, analyze, and calculate financial data for offshore large-scale projects. You manage budgeting, forecasts, and liquidity, prepare tailored financial reporting and scenario analyses, and support company reporting needs. You also coordinate with project leaders and suppliers to analyze financial progress and perform variance and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, and calculate financial data for offshore large-scale projects
• Plan, monitor, and steer financial data (budget, forecast, liquidity)
• Produce finance reports, scenario analyses, and short-/mid-/long-term project planning; provide inputs for company reports
• Exchange with project managers and suppliers to analyze financial progress and create variance and root-cause analyses
• Own cost management and oversee orders, invoices, and accruals
• Optimize processes within and outside the project

Requirements

• Completed degree in business administration with a focus on controlling or finance (or comparable qualification)
• Relevant experience in project controlling, preferably in large infrastructure projects or similar controlling environments
• Very good MS Office knowledge (especially Excel) and experience with finance-specific software such as SAP and Power BI
• Strong communication, high initiative, and excellent analytical skills
• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
