Description

You will design, develop, and implement full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and relational databases. The work includes collaborating with business experts, analyzing user requirements, and translating them into scalable solutions. The project supports long-term development of new features, integrations, and existing microservices-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical experts to collect and analyze business/functional requirements

• Analyze existing processes and design modern applications and microservices for user needs

• Develop, deploy, and maintain applications according to the agreed technology stack and organizational standards

• Support and evolve existing microservices-based solutions across business areas

• Prepare and execute unit, integration, system, and performance tests

• Support business users during acceptance testing and the solution handover process

• Create technical documentation, reports, and manage application changes and lifecycle

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate in an international project team

• Plan and coordinate application releases and ensure delivery quality

• Identify project risks, coordinate change-related activities, and support new practices and improvements

• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and business teams to ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience designing and developing applications with Java and Angular

• Experience independently building, maintaining, and evolving unit and integration tests for Java applications

• Practical knowledge of Java testing frameworks used in the Java ecosystem (e.g., JUnit, Cucumber, or equivalent)

• Commercial experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot

• Experience implementing the data-access layer with JPA and Hibernate

• Experience designing and developing backend services/applications in Java

• Team experience using Git, including working with branches, pull/merge requests, and participating in code review

• Ability to create and optimize SQL queries for relational databases

• Experience using XML, YAML, and JSON formats for configuration and application development

• Practical experience using AI-based software development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Codex

• Experience implementing or modifying application code with AI agent support (task delegation to AI tool, verifying generated code, testing, and deploying changes)

• Ability to evaluate quality, correctness, and security of code generated by AI tools

• Practical experience creating Angular frontend applications using TypeScript and/or JavaScript

• Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs

• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into clear functional requirements and acceptance criteria

• Ability to communicate with business users, explain proposed changes, and their organizational impact

• Experience analyzing and solving technical problems and justifying proposed solutions

• Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, and communicate change impact on project timelines

• Ability to present technical decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience preparing project reports on work progress, risks, and issues

• Ability to coordinate project actions, dependencies, and follow-up activities

• Very good English enabling participation in meetings, discussing requirements, and producing documentation and reports
