Description

Design, develop, and maintain complex applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular. Take ownership of key technical and architectural decisions, implement REST APIs and integration services, and ensure non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability. Collaborate with DevOps, mentor less experienced engineers, and partner with testers to ensure high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Java and Angular applications

• Drive technical and architectural direction and define solution roadmaps

• Implement APIs, integration services, and application components

• Apply non-functional requirements: performance, reliability, security, scalability, maintainability

• Cover code with tests in close collaboration with manual and automation testers

• Set code quality standards, perform code reviews, and document delivered functionality

• Mentor teammates and help resolve the most complex technical problems

• Plan and prioritize team work and coordinate deployments with other teams

• Improve team working processes, production workflow, and information flow

• Collaborate with DevOps and leadership; present and justify proposed solutions

Requirements

• Higher education (preferred: Computer Science or related)

• Minimum 8 years of software development (primarily in Java), including Senior Developer/Tech Lead-type experience

• English at A2/B1 level (intermediate)

• Java 17+ proficiency

• Strong Spring Framework, Spring Boot 3+, and JPA/Hibernate knowledge

• Very good knowledge of design patterns, SOLID, and architectural patterns (including hexagonal architecture)

• Very good relational database knowledge (especially Oracle) and SQL

• Very good REST API and HTML/CSS knowledge; good TypeScript, Angular, and SPA architecture

• Container experience (Docker, Kubernetes or Nomad)

• Understanding DevOps culture and practical DevOps experience

• Ability to set development directions and follow technology trends

• Experience using AI tools in daily development

• Planning/prioritization skills, adapting plans, and coordinating changes across teams

• Ability to explain technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to build collaboration and positive engagement toward change

• Commitment to process order, information flow, and improving team standards
