Description

You will own and prioritize product delivery for a complex data platform environment, shaping demand into actionable features with clear acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes. Working with platform leadership, technical leads, engineering teams, and stakeholders, you will manage capacity, dependencies, delivery risks, and release readiness—while ensuring architecture decisions remain with technical leadership. You will also drive service adoption and documentation standards and run structured feedback loops to keep priorities aligned.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the platform backlog at feature level, ensuring clear scope and priorities

• Shape incoming demand into well-defined features with acceptance criteria

• Translate business and technical needs into platform priorities with stakeholders

• Manage capacity across workstreams and maintain a transparent delivery flow

• Identify bottlenecks, ageing work, dependencies, and capacity risks early

• Act as the key communication point between the platform team and stakeholders

• Communicate technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders

• Run structured feedback loops to capture stakeholder needs, pain points, and emerging requirements

• Coordinate dependencies, delivery risks, and release readiness across platform work

• Ensure changes, releases, and handovers are aligned and properly communicated

• Support service adoption and documentation standards so services are easy to consume

• Contribute to platform vision, roadmap, service catalogue, and strategic direction with leadership

• Collaborate with engineering teams during planning and refinement to ensure priorities and outcomes are understood

Requirements

• Experience as a Product Manager / Technical Product Manager / Platform Product Manager (or similar)

• Hands-on or Product Ownership experience in Databricks environments (must have)

• Experience with data platforms, cloud platforms, infrastructure, developer platforms, or other technically complex products/services

• Strong backlog management and prioritisation

• Experience managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities

• Ability to translate technical complexity into clear business and product language

• Understanding of modern software/platform delivery processes

• Experience working closely with engineers, architects, Technical Leads, or platform teams

• Strong grasp of dependencies, delivery risks, capacity planning, and release coordination

• Structured and disciplined product management approach

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills

• Professional working proficiency in English
