Product Manager (Document Management Platform)

Senior • On-site

18,000 - 24,000 PLN/yr

Kraków, Poland

Quick Facts

  • Role: Product Manager (Document Management Platform)

  • Focus: CDMS platform for colleague document capture, storage, retrieval, retention, and reporting

  • Collaboration: Agile product delivery with engineers and onboarding across multiple business areas

Description

Own an end-to-end product for CDMS, the global component powering colleague document handling instead of teams building their own. You will set platform strategy, run the day-to-day agile backlog, shape reusable document capabilities and the front-end experience, and onboard business areas using a self-serve approach. The role also includes owning compliance outcomes across retention, GDPR, access control, auditability, and document reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Set CDMS platform strategy and translate it into a delivered roadmap (next steps, business areas to onboard, and ordering)

  • Run the day-to-day agile backlog with engineers: user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritisation, technical Q&A, and ensuring value ships

  • Own reusable, document-agnostic capabilities: upload and camera scanning, OCR and data extraction, metadata and version control, secure storage and APIs, search and retrieval, retention, legal hold, and deletion

  • Shape the front-end experience with design and user research so uploading a document is quick and correct on first attempt

  • Onboard new journey teams and business areas by qualifying demand, mapping to existing capability, and maintaining the ownership boundary to avoid non-scalable bespoke builds

  • Make CDMS self-serve via integration guides, clear feature/non-feature lists, and decision trees

  • Own compliance outcomes including Right to Work coverage and data accuracy, retention, GDPR, access control, auditability, and document reporting

  • Trade off new capability against security hardening, NFRs, and technical debt—explicitly

  • Define and track OKRs and measurement using analytics and dashboards (e.g., upload success rates, performance, usability)

  • Work with a third-party platform partner on requirements, NFRs, and data migration; represent CDMS to senior stakeholders across People Technology, People Services, compliance, and architecture

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in agile/scrum environments with end-to-end ownership of a product or capability

  • Strong understanding of API design and best practices (essential)

  • Working knowledge of cloud services (Azure preferred)

  • Understanding of document/content management concepts: metadata taxonomy, version control, access control lists, retention and deletion rules (OCR/data extraction preferred)

  • Understanding of personal data at scale: GDPR, data minimisation, retention, legal hold, and auditability

  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Aha!

  • Advanced stakeholder management across engineering, compliance, operations, senior leadership, and external partners

  • Strong prioritisation and value-based decision-making, plus methodical analytical problem-solving

  • Ability to quickly learn a detailed regulated domain (colleague documentation)

Benefits

  • Hybrid working: 60% (3 days) onsite in/near Kraków, remainder remote

  • Up to 20% yearly salary bonus (individual and business performance)

  • Permanent contract from the start

  • Private healthcare (LuxMed) and Cafeteria & Multisport

  • Additional 4 days paid leave and increased annual leave (from 20 to 25 days for those not yet eligible)

  • Learning opportunities (certified technical training and Udemy)

  • Family and well-being benefits (e.g., fertility leave, back-to-school day)

  • MacBook provided and referral bonus
