Description

You will act as an independent consultant advising public-sector clients on digital transformation, digitization, and regulatory requirements. The role includes analyzing and improving business processes and IT environments, defining IT solution approaches, and supporting implementation through concepts, planning, workshops, and client presentations. You will also mentor less experienced consultants and contribute to e-governance, digital public services, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Advise public-sector clients on digital transformation, digitization, and regulatory requirement implementation
• Conduct multi-aspect analysis and modeling of business processes, organizational structures, and client IT environments; define appropriate IT solutions
• Prepare solution concepts, plan, and support implementation; run presentations and workshops
• Co-create client offers
• Support public-sector key processes including compliance, policy implementation, and public service delivery
• Drive innovative public-sector trends such as e-governance, digital public services, and data-driven decisions
• Support and mentor less experienced consultants; lead small consulting teams

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT consulting, IT architecture design, or implementing IT systems in public sector organizations
• Experience with analysis, modeling, and process improvement
• Interest in the public sector and ongoing public-sector change
• Familiarity with market trends such as digitalization, e-governance, and data-driven decision-making
• Strong command of German and English
• Excellent analytical thinking with structured problem-solving focused on business goals
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to support compliance with regulations, policy implementation, and public service delivery
